What do we gain from the experience of leaning and reclining while we eat and drink at the seder? Historically, leaning symbolizes freedom and wealth and it’s a must at the seder,
even though we’re eating off fine china and silverware and many of us cough when drinking that first glass while leaning to the left. We’re looking to answer this age-old query, asked early on in the evening by the youngest present at the seder, during the Four Questions.
