Activities: Community Gardening
The kibbutz concept may be a thing of Israel’s past, but the love for community, agriculture and socialism are never far from the Israeli mind. Match that with the fad for anything organic and a general lack of backyards in these tight quarters, and community gardens have become the kitchen plots for Israelis craving their own homegrown produce.
