Activities: Community Gardening

The kibbutz concept may be a thing of Israel’s past, but the love for community, agriculture and socialism are never far from the Israeli mind. Match that with the fad for anything organic and a general lack of backyards in these tight quarters, and community gardens have become the kitchen plots for Israelis craving their own homegrown produce. Expeditions has introduced itself to five communal gardens and gardeners around the country. Now you can meet them yourselves:
